Before you begin

Features

· This is a remote control unit with built-in speaker to enhance your

enjoyment of television sound. It is convenient to use if it is

difficult to hear the television sound when there is other

surrounding noise or human voices present.

· The television sound can be easily heard through the high-fidelity,

compact speaker.

Clearer, fuller sound can also be heard when listening to the

television sound.

· The volume control for the speaker enables you to listen to the

sound at the most appropriate volume.

· Because the speaker system uses infrared-ray communication, it

provides great portability, allowing you to carry it around the

room. The sound can be enjoyed anywhere within the range the

infrared rays can reach, such as on top of a table or next to a sofa.

· A microphone is included, which can pick up sound directly from

the television speakers.

Transmitter installation can be performed easily, without

troublesome cord connections. The transmitter also operates with

a television not equipped with an audio output terminal.

· The unit is also equipped with a three-hour timer OFF function.

Even if you forget to turn off the power of the speakers, the power

turns off automatically after three hours to prevent excessive

power consumption.

About Presetting the Commander

The Commander is preset at the factory to operate Sony brand TVs.

If you're using the Commander with a Sony brand TV, you won't

need to preset the Commander before you start using it.

To set up the Commander to use with other (no:-Sony)

manufacturers' TV, or to use with an analog cable box, you'll need to

follow the instructions in this manual to preset the Commander with

the correct code number for your components.

Notes

· The Commander can be set up to operate only one component per

button unless their code numbers happen to be the same. For

example, you cannot set up the Commander to operate a Sony TV and a

Panasonic TV simultaneously (because they use different code

numbers).

· You may not be able to operate even a Sony brand TV with the factory

setting. In such a case, follow the procedure in "Setting the code".

Usage example

Living room

When watching the television with others, you can enjoy the sound

at a volume of your own choice.

Bedside

Late-night programs can be enjoyed without disturbing people in

other rooms.

Kitchen

While away from the television, you can hear the clear sound near at

hand.

Sound coverage range

The illustration below shows the approximate area covered by the

infrared rays emitted from the transmitter.

Notes

· This system utilizes infrared rays for communication, so noise (hissing)

from the speaker can increase as the Commander goes farther away

from the transmitter, even within the range illustrated above. The sound

will also be cut off and noise will be generated if the infrared rays are

blocked. These are characteristics of infrared-ray communication and do

not indicate an equipment malfunciton.

· Do not place your hand in front of the infrared receptor.

· Place the Commander so the infrared receptor of the Commander faces

the transmitter. If the Commander is used in a position within the

range illustrated above, the sound can be heard from the speaker of the

Commander.

· The sound you hear varies according to the position of the Commander

and the transmitter. Try finding a position that yields the best sound.

· Even if there are irregularities in the clarity of the infrared emitter of the

transmitter, this will not influence the range and other functions of the

infrared rays.

Precaution

On operation

Never drop the Commander and transmitter or subject them to

strong shock. This may damage the equipment.

Preparations

Preparing the power source of the

Commander

Installing the batteries

Slide open the battery compartment and insert four size AA (R6)

batteries (not supplied).

Be sure to line up the e and E on the batteries with the e and E on

the battery compartment.

When to replace the batteries

Under normal conditions, batteries will last for up to approximately

60 hours of use (when using Sony LR6 alkaline batteries, for 5 mW

speaker output usage). If the Commander does not operate properly

or the speaker power lamp is dim or off, the batteries might be worn

out. Replace the batteries with new ones.

Notes

· Replace all batteries with new ones.

· Do not take more than 20 minutes to replace the batteries; otherwise,

your setting of the code number will be erased.

· The battery life may vary depending on the frequency of use.

Notes on batteries

· Do not mix old batteries with new ones or mix different types of

batteries together.

· If the electrolyte inside the battery should leak, wipe the

contaminated area of the battery compartment with a cloth, and

replace the old batteries with new ones. To prevent the electrolyte

from leaking, remove the batteries when you plan not to use the

Commander for a long period of time.

Using on house current

Notes

· If the AC adaptor is removed for more than 20 minutes when

batteries are not inserted, your setting of the code number will be

erased. It is recommended to use the Commander with the

batteries inserted, even when using the Commander with the AC

power adaptor.

· Use only the AC power adaptor AC-E45HG (not supplied). Do not

use any other AC power adaptor.

Setting the code

Setting by entering the code number

1 See the tables in "Component code numbers," and find the three-

digit code number for the desired component.

If more than one code number is listed, use the number that's

listed first to complete the steps below.

For example, if you're setting up a Philips TV, you would use the

code number 056.

If your component is not listed, see "Setting by searching for the

correct code."

2 Press the POWER button while holding

the SLEEP button pressed.

3 Press the button for the component that

you want to set up (TV or CABLE).

4 Enter the component's code number.

For example, if you're entering the code

for a Philips TV, you would press

5 Press the ENT button.

6 Aim the Commander to your component and check if you can

operate it using the Commander.

If you press a wrong button in step 4

Press the POWER button while holding the SLEEP button pressed

and then return to step 3.

If you cannot operate your component

· First try repeating these setup procedures using another code listed

for your component (see the tables in "Component code

numbers").

· If after trying all the codes listed for your component you still

cannot get the Commander to work properly, try the search

method described in "Setting by searching for the correct code."

Tip

You can write down the code number on the label inside the battery

compartment lid and this Operating Instructions manual.

press 0 and 5 (or, press 5 and ENT).

· There may be cases in which you may turn on/off the analog cable box

by pressing the CHANNEL + or CHANNEL buttons on the Commander.

· If your analog cable box can control volume, be sure to set its volume

control to a medium position. If the volume on the analog cable box is

turned down completely, you will not be able to adjust your TV's

volume with the Commander.

Setting up the transmitter

1 Connect the transmitter to a TV.

Using the supplied connecting cord

(The sound does not come out of the television speakers.)

Notes

· When the transmitter is connected to a headphones jack, use the

volume control on this Commander to adjust the volume, while

keeping the volume of the TV at an appropriate level.

· Sound from the microphone will be shut off automatically if a

connection cord is connected to the television LINE OUT jack or

headphones jack of a TV.

· The sound sent from the transmitter is monaural. If the input

signal is stereo, it is converted to a monaural signal inside the

transmitter.

Using the supplied microphone

1 Remove the microphone from

the underside of the transmitter.

2 Tear off the coated paper from

the adhesive surface of the

microphone.

3 Attach the microphone to the television speaker.

Adjust the volume of the TV.

Notes

· Wipe off dirt, dust, or moisture on the attached surface of the

speaker with a dry cloth before attaching the microphone to it. The

adhesion of the adhesive label on the microphone recovers if

wiped with a moist cloth.

· Use the LINE OUT jack or the headphones jack of the television if

the speaker surface is made of cloth or other material that can be

easily stripped off.

· Attach the microphone in a position where the sound can be heard

best if the television speaker grill is large or long.

· When the microphone is attached to a stereo television, you can

use either speaker grill, left or right. It makes no difference in the

sound from the speaker of the Commander.

2 Connect the transmitter to a power source.

Use only the supplied AC power adaptor. Do not use any other AC

power adaptor.

Operations

Operating a component

1 Turn on the transmitter. The infrared emitters light up.

2 Turn on the power of the speaker.

3 Press the button of the desired component on the Commander (TV

or CABLE).

4 Point the Commander directly at the component.

5 Press the button for the function you want to use.

See "Remote button descriptions" for a complete description of

the buttons on the Commander.

6 Adjust the volume of the speaker of the Commander.

Notes on using the Commander

Basically, use this Commander in the same way as the remote control

supplied with your TV or analog cable box.

· Using this Commander will not add additional functions to your

TV or analog cable box. The functions of the Commander are

limited to the functions of the equipment itself. For example, if

your TV does not have a SLEEP function, the SLEEP button on this

Commander will not function with your TV.

· Some functions of your TV or analog cable box may not work with

this Commander.

· If your analog cable box can control volume, be sure to set its

volume switch to a medium position. If the volume on the analog

cable box is turned down completely, you will not be able to adjust

your TV's volume with the Commander.

Notes on adjusting the volume

When connecting to the LINE OUT jack

· Use the VOL control on the Commander to adjust the speaker

volume.

· If noise increases when the Commander goes outside the range

where the infrared rays reach or when the infrared rays are

obstructed, the mute function operates automatically, and the

sound from the speaker cannot be heard. The mute function is

canceled automatically when the Commander moves closer to the

transmitter or there is no obstruction to the infrared rays.

When using the microphone or connecting to the headphone jack

If you cannot get the desired speaker volume even if you increase the

speaker volume to the maximum using the VOL control of the

Commander, turn up the volume on the television.

Listening to through an earphone (not supplied)

Connect an earphone (not supplied) to the EARPHONE jack on the

Commander.

You can store your earphone in the battery compartment on the

bottom of the Commander when not in use.

When the Commander is not in use

First turn off the SPEAKER POWER switch on the Commander and

then turn off the POWER switch of the transmitter. Noise may be

heard if the power of the transmitter is turned off first.

Note

The power of the speaker turns off automatically after three hours to

prevent exessive power consumption.

Press the SPEAKER POWER switch again if the power is turned off

while you are watching TV. (The remote control functions can be

used even if the power of the speaker is turned off.)

Sound problems

No sound/Muffled sound

· Check that the SPEAKER POWER lamp of the Commander is on.

· Check that the transmitter is turned on.

· Check if the speaker volume control is set to "0" (minimum).

· Check that all connections are correct.

· Turn up the volume on the television.

Distortion

· Check if the volume on the television is turned up too high.

· Check if the SPEAKER POWER lamp is dim or off.

t Replace the batteries of the Commander.

Loud background static

· Check that the distance between the Commander and the

transmitter is within the signal connection range. Noise from the

speaker increases as the Commander goes farther away from the

transmitter. This is due to characteristics of the infrared-ray

communication and does not indicate a malfunction of the unit.

· Check that there is no obstruction between the Commander and

the transmitter.

· Make sure that the Commander and component are not exposed to

direct sunlight.

· Change the position or angle of the transmitter.

· Check if the SPEAKER POWER lamp is dim or off.

t Replace the batteries of the Commander.

· If there is another transmitter in operation, turn off the power of

the other transmitter or move it to a location where the infrared

rays do not interfere.

Problems when setting up or using the Commander

To set up the Commander, carefully go through the procedure

described in "Setting the code". If more than one code is listed for

your component and the first one fails, try the next one, and so forth.

If none of the codes work (or if your component is not listed), go to

the steps in "Setting by searching for the correct code."

You cannot set the code

· Make sure that the batteries are not worn out, and that they are

inserted correctly.

You cannot operate the TV or analog cable box with the Commander

in spite of successful setting

· Check that you are aiming the Commander directly at the

component, and that the Commander is within the remote control

operation distance.

· Check that there are no obstructions between the Commander and

the component.

· Make sure that the batteries are not worn out.

· Check that the TV or CABLE button is pressed to choose your

desired component.

· Check that the component has infrared remote capability. For

example, if your component did not come with a remote

commander, it probably is not capable of being controlled by a

remote commander.

· Check if your setting of the codes has been changed owing to

mishandling or some other cause.

· Check if your setting of the codes has been erased owing to leaving

the batteries (or AC power adaptor) removed for more than 20

minutes.

t Insert new batteries and repeat the set up procedure.

Noise comes out from the speaker when you press a button

· Check that the distance between the Commander and the

transmitter is within the signal connection range.

Should any problem persist, reset the Commander to the factory

setting by pressing POWER, INPUT and VOL buttons

simultaneously.

Setting by searching for the correct code

If you have tried all the code numbers listed for your component and

you still cannot get the Commander to work (or if your component is

not listed in the "Component code numbers" tables), try these steps.

1 Power on the component you want to set up.

2 Press the POWER button while holding the SLEEP button pressed.

3 Press the button for the component on the Commander that you

want to set up (TV or CABLE).

4 Press and release the CHANNEL + button. Then press and release

the POWER button.

5 Repeat step 4 until the correct code number is found.

Each time you press the CHANNEL + button and then the POWER

button, a new code number will be transmitted.

Keep trying until your component operates by receiving the

transmitted signal from the Commander (e.g., the power turns off,

the CHANNEL + function works, etc.). Be patient as you do this; it

may take 60 or 70 tries until the correct code number is located.

6 When the correct code is found, press the ENT button.

7 Check that the Commander is operating the other functions of

your component by pressing the corresponding buttons on the

Commander. If they seem to be working properly, you're done

setting up the Commander.

If the component does not operate properly, repeat steps 1 to 6 and

search for another code.

If you still cannot get the Commander to work properly, see

"Troubleshooting."

Básicamente, utilice este mando a distancia de la misma forma que el

mando a distancia suministrado con su televisor o adaptador para

cablevisión analógico.

· La utilización de este mando a distancia no aumentará las funciones de

sus componentes. Las funciones del mando a distancia estarán

limitadas a las de los propios componentes. Por ejemplo, si su televisor

no posee función de silenciamiento, la tecla SLEEP de este mando a

distancia no trabajará con su televisor.

· Algunas funciones del componente pueden no trabajar con este mando

a distancia.

· Si su adaptador para cablevisión analógico puede controlar el volumen,

cerciórese de ajustar su selector de volumen a una posición intermedia.

Si redujese completamente el volumen del adaptador para cablevisión

analógico, no podría ajustar el volumen de su televisor con el mando a

distancia.

Notas sobre el ajuste del volumen

Cuando haya realizado la conexión a la toma LINE OUT

· Utilice el control VOL del mando a distancia para ajustar el

volumen del altavoz.

· Si el ruido aumenta cuando el mando a distancia esté fuera del área

televisor.

Escucha a través de un auricular (no suministrado)

Conecte un auricular (no suministrado) a la toma EARPHONE del

mando a distancia.

Usted podrá guardar su auricular en el compartimiento de las pilas

de la parte inferior del mando a distancia cuando no vaya a

utilizarlo.

Cuando vaya a utilizar el mando a distancia

En primer lugar ponga el interruptor SPEAKER POWER del mando

a distancia en desconectase y después el interruptor POWER del

transmisor. Si desconectase en primer lugar la alimentación del

transmisor, podría oír ruido.

Nota

La alimentación del transmisor se desconectará automáticamente

después de tres horas par evitar el consumo excesivo de energía.

Si la alimentación se desconecta mientras esté contemplando

televisión, vuelva a presionar el interruptor SPEAKER POWER. (Las

funciones de control remoto podrán utilizarse aunque la

Preparación del transmisor

Notas

Utilizando el micrófono suministrado

1 Extraiga el micrófono de la parte

Notas

· Limpie la suciedad, el polvo, o la humedad de la superficie del

altavoz con un paño seco antes de fijarle el micrófono. La adhesión

de la etiqueta adhesiva del micrófono se recuperará si se limpia

con un paño humedecido.

· Utilice la toma LINE OUT o la toma para auriculares del televisor

si la superficie del altavoz es de tela u otro material que pueda

desprenderse fácilmente.

· Fije el micrófono en una posición en la que pueda oírse el sonido

bien si la rejilla del altavoz del televisor es grande o larga.

Antes de comenzar

Características

· Éste es un mando a distancia con altavoz incorporado para poder

disfrutar más del sonido de televisión. Será muy útil cuando no

pueda escucharse el sonido de televisión debido al ruido ambiental

o a las voces de otras personas.

· El sonido de televisión podrá oírse fácilmente a través del altavoz

compacto de alta fidelidad.

Escuchando el televisor podrá oír también un sonido más claro y

pleno.

· El control de volumen del amplificador permite escuchar el sonido

al volumen más apropiado.

· Como el sistema del altavoz utiliza la comunicación por rayos

infrarrojos, podrá llevarlo fácilmente por toda la sala. Usted podrá

disfrutar de sonido en cualquier parte que se encuentre dentro del

alcance de los rayos infrarrojos, sobre una mesa o en un sofá.

· Incluye un micrófono que puede captar directamente el sonido de

los altavoces del televisor.

La instalación del transmisor puede realizarse fácilmente, sin

necesidad de utilizar cables engorrosos. El transmisor también

funcionará con un televisor que no disponga de terminal de salida

de audio.

· La unidad está equipada también con la función de desconexión de

la alimentación con temporizador de tres horas. Aunque se olvide

de desconectar la alimentación del altavoz, ésta se desconectará

automáticamente después de tres horas para evitar el consumo

excesivo de energía.

Sobre el preajuste del mando a distancia

El mando a distancia ha sido preajustado en fábrica para gobernar

televisores y videograbadoras.

Si va a utilizar el mando a distancia con un televisor Sony y una

videograbadora, no necesitará preajustarlo antes de comenzar a

utilizarlo.

Para ajustar el mando a distancia a fin de utilizarlo con televisores de

otros fabricantes (no Sony), o para utilizar un adaptador para

cablevisión analógico, tendrá que seguir las instrucciones de este

manual para preajustar el mando a distancia con el número de

código correcto para sus componentes.

Notas

· El mando a distancia solamente podrá programarse para controlar a la

vez un componente por tecla, a menos que sus números de código sean

iguales. Por ejemplo, usted no podrá programar el mando a distancia

para controlar un televisor Sony y otro Panasonic simultáneamente

(porque sus números de código son diferentes).

· Quizás no pueda gobernar un televisor Sony con el preajuste de fábrica.

En tal caso, siga el procedimiento de "Programación del código."

Ejemplo de utilización

Sala de estar

Cuando escuche la televisión con otros, podrá disfrutar de sonido al

volumen que desee.

En la cama

Usted podrá disfrutar contemplando la televisión sin molestar a las

personas que se encuentren en otras habitaciones.

En la cocina

Aunque se encuentre lejos del televisor, podrá escuchar sonido claro.

Alcance del sonido

En la ilustración siguiente se muestra el área aproximada cubierta

por los rayos infrarrojos emitidos por el transmisor.

Notas

· Este sistema utiliza rayos infrarrojos para la comunicación, motivo por

el que el ruido (siseo) del altavoz puede aumentar a medida que aleje el

mando a distancia del transmisor, incluso dentro del área mostrada

arriba. El sonido también se cortará, y se producirá ruido, si bloquea los

rayos infrarrojos. Éstas son características de la comunicación por rayos

infrarrojos y no indican mal funcionamiento del equipo.

· No coloque sus manos delante del receptor de rayos infrarrojos.

· Coloque el mando a distancia de forma que el receptor de rayos

infrarrojos quede encarado hacia el transmisor. Si utiliza el mando a

distancia en una posición dentro del área mostrada en la ilustración de

arriba, podrá oír sonido a través del altavoz del mismo.

· El sonido que oiga variará de acuerdo con la posición del mando a

distancia y del transmisor. Pruebe hasta encontrar la posición que

ofrezca el mejor sonido.

· Incluso aunque haya irregularidades en la claridad del emisor del

transmisor de rayos infrarrojos, esto no influirá en el alcance ni en las

funciones de los rayos infrarrojos.

Precaución

Operación

No deje caer el mando a distancia ni el transmisor, ni los someta a

golpes. Esto podría dañar el equipo.

Preparativos

Preparación de la fuente de

alimentación del mando a distancia

Colocación de las pilas

Deslice y abra el compartimiento de las pilas, e inserte cuatro pilas

de tamaño AA (R6) (no suministrado).

Cerciórese de alinear e y E de las pilas con e y E del

compartimiento de las mismas.

Cuándo reemplazar las pilas

En condiciones normales, las pilas durarán aproximadamente 60

horas (utilizando pilas alcalinas LR6 Sony, con 5 mW de potencia de

salida del altavoz). Si el mando a distancia no funciona

adecuadamente, o si la lámpara indicadora de alimentación se

ilumina débilmente o se apaga, es posible que las pilas estén

agotadas. Remplace las pilas por otras nuevas.

Notas

· Reemplace todas las pilas por otras nuevas.

· No tarde más de 20 minutos en reemplazar las pilas, porque de lo

contrario su ajuste de números de código se borrará.

· La duración de las pilas puede variar dependiendo de la frecuencia de

utilización.

Notas sobre las pilas

· No mezcle una pila nueva con otra vieja, ni dos de tipos diferentes.

· Si se fuga el electrólito de las pilas, limpie la parte contaminada del

compartimiento de las pilas con un paño y reemplace las pilas

viejas por otras nuevas. Para evitar la fuga del electrólito, extraiga

las pilas cuando no vaya a utilizar el mando a distancia durante

mucho tiempo.

Alimentación con la corriente de la red

Notas

· Si desconecta el adaptador de alimentación de CA durante más de

20 minutos, sin pilas insertadas, los números códigos programados

se borrarán. Se recomienda utilizar el mando a distancia con las

pilas insertadas, incluso aunque lo esté alimentando con el

adaptador de alimentación de CA.

· Utilice solamente un adaptador de alimentación de CA AC-E45HG

(no suministrado). No utilice ningún otro adaptador de

alimentación de CA.

Programación del código

Introducción del número de código

1 Consulte las tablas de "Números de códigos de componentes", y

busque el número de código de tres dígitos para el componente

deseado.

Si hay más de un número de código en la lista, utilice el primero

de ellos para completar los pasos siguientes.

Por ejemplo, para un televisor Philips, utilice el número de código

056.

Si su componente no está en la lista, consulte "Búsqueda del

código correcto."

2 Presione la tecla POWER manteniendo

pulsada la tecla SLEEP.

3 Presione la tecla del componente que

desee ajustar (TV o CABLE).

4 Introduzca el número de código del

componente.

Por ejemplo, para introducir el código

para un televisor Philips, presione

5 Presione la tecla ENT.

6 Apunte con el mando a distancia hacia su componente y

compruebe si puede controlarlo.

Si ha presionado una tecla errónea en el punto 4

Presione la tecla POWER manteniendo pulsada la tecla SLEEP y

después vuelva al paso 3.

Si no puede controlar su componente

· En primer lugar, repita estos procedimientos de programación

utilizando otro codigo de la lista para su componente (consulte las

tablas de "Números de código de componentes").

· Si, después de haber probado todos los códigos de la lista para su

componente, el mando a distancia sigue sin trabajar

adecuadamente, consulte "Búsqueda del código correcto."

Estáticos fuertes de fondo

· Compruebe si la distancia entre el mando a distancia y el

transmisor está dentro del alcance de las señales de rayos

infrarrojos. El ruido del altavoz aumentará a medida que aleje el

mando a distancia del transmisor. Esto se debe a las características

de la comunicación por rayos infrarrojos y no indica mal

funcionamiento de la unidad.

· Cerciórese de que no haya obstrucciones entre el mando a distancia

y el transmisor.

· Cerciórese de que el mando a distancia y el componente no estén

expuestos a la luz solar directa.

· Cambie la posición o el ángulo del transmisor.

· Compruebe si la lámpara SPEAKER POWER está débilmente

iluminada o apagada.

t Reemplace las pilas del mando a distancia.

· Si está utilizando otro mando a distancia, desconecte su

alimentación o aléjelo de forma que no interfiera los rayos

infrarrojos.

Problemas en la programación o la utilización del

mando a distancia

Para programar el mando a distancia, realice cuidadosamente el

procedimiento descrito en "Programación del código". Si en la lista

hay más de un código para su componente, y el primero falla,

pruebe el siguiente, etc. Si no trabaja ninguno de los códigos (o si su

componente no está en la lista), realice los pasos de "Búsqueda del

código correcto".

No es posible programar el código

· Cerciórese de que las pilas no estén agotadas, y de que estén

correctamente insertadas.

No es posible controlar el televisor o el adaptador para cablevisión

analógico a pesar de que la programación resultó satisfactoria

· Compruebe si está apuntando directamente con el mando a

distancia hacia el componente, y si el mando a distancia está dentro

del alcance de operación de control remoto.

· Cerciórese de que no haya obstrucciones entre el mando a distancia

y el componente.

· Cerciórese de que las pilas no estén agotadas.

· Compruebe si ha presionado la tecla TV o CABLE para elegir el

componente deseado.

· Compruebe si el componente posee capacidad para controlarse con

rayos infrarrojos. Por ejemplo, si su componente no vino con

mando a distancia, seguramente no podrá controlarse con un

mando a distancia.

· Compruebe si ha cambiado la programación de los códigos debido

a una operación errónea o a cualquier otra causa.

· Compruebe si los códigos programados se han borrado debido a

que extrajo las pilas (o desconectó el adaptador de alimentación de

CA) durante más de 20 minutos.

t Inserte pilas nuevas y repita el procedimiento de programación.

Al presionar una tecla sale ruido a través del altavoz

· Compruebe si la distancia entre el mando a distancia y el

transmisor está dentro del alcance de las señales de rayos

infrarrojos.

Si el problema continúa, reponga el mando a distancia a los ajustes

de fábrica presionando simultáneamente las teclas POWER, INPUT,

y VOL .

Búsqueda del código correcto

Si ha intentado todos lo números de código de la lista para su

componente y el mando a distancia sigue sin trabajar (o si sus

componentes no están indicados en las tablas de "Números de

código de componentes"), pruebe estos puntos.

1 Conecte la alimentación del componente que desee ajustar.

2 Presione la tecla POWER manteniendo pulsada la tecla SLEEP.

3 Presione la tecla del componente que desee programar. (TV o

CABLE)

4 Presione y suelte la tecla CHANNEL +. Después presione y suelte

la tecla POWER.

5 Repita el paso 4 hasta encontrar el número de código correcto.

Cada vez que presione la tecla CHANNEL + y después la tecla

POWER, se transmitirá un nuevo número de código.

Continúe intentándolo hasta que su componente funcione al

recibir la señal transmitida desde el mando a distancia (p. ej., se

desconecta la alimentación, la función de CHANNEL+ trabaja,

etc.). Tenga paciencia al realizar esto, porque pueden ser

necesarios de 60 a 70 hasta encontrar el número de código

correcto.

6 Cuando no encuentre el código correcto, presione la tecla ENT.

7 Compruebe si el mando a distancia controla las otras funciones de

su componente presionando las teclas correspondientes de dicho

mando a distancia. Si parece trabajar correctamente, habrá

finalizado el preajuste del mando a distancia.

Si el componente no funciona correctamente, repita los pasos 1 a 6 y

busque otro código.

Si el mando a distancia sigue sin trabajar adecuadamente, consulte

"Solución de problemas."
