* Mainly reduces low-frequency noise of 1,500Hz or lower; not designed to eliminate all noise.

1. For your safety...
q Never use the headphones when driving a car, motorcycle, or bicycle.
This could result in an accident.
q Pay close attention to traffic around you when using the headphones
while walking. Not doing so could result in an accident.
q Be careful not to turn the sound volume up too high when using the
headphones. Your hearing can be damaged by listening to sounds at
excessive volume for long periods.
q Do not disassemble or modify the headphones.
q Do not allow inflammables, water or metallic objects to enter the
headphones.
2. Avoid using the headphones...
q in places subject to excessive humidity or dust
q in places subject to extremely high (over 40
°C or 104°F) or low
(under 0
°C or 32°F) temperatures
3. DO NOT leave the headphones...
q in direct sunlight
q near a heater
4. To protect the headphones, DO NOT...
q allow them to get wet
q drop them or shake them against hard objects.
Be careful not to add power that exceeds the headphones' input capacity.
This may result in distorted sound and could damage the oscillation board.
Grasp and pull the plug firmly to disconnect the headphone. Do not pull
on the cord.

USING THE HEADPHONES
1. When the power is OFF, the headphone operates without noise canceling
function.
2. When the power is ON, the headphone operates with noise canceling function.
3. Rewind the cord and turn the power ON to use the noise canceling function
like an ear plug (e.g. while sleeping on airplane or train)
· Select the appropriate plug adaptor that fits in the airplane headphone plug.
HOW TO PULL-OUT/REWIND THE CORD
Pull out: Slowly pull out the cord to the desired
length. Maximum cord length is 4.9ft
(1.5m); stop pulling when the cord end
mark appears.
Rewind: Remove the headphones,
fold it up, and then slide the
rewind switch. (To prevent
accidents, the headphone
is designed not to rewind
when it is in use or
while wearing it.)
s If the cord doesn't wind in completely, pull it out and try
rewinding again.
FOLDING THE HEADPHONES
1. Push up the slider on both ends.
2. Place the earpads together.
3. Fold the housing at both ends and push up from the bottom.
Changing the Battery
The battery should be changed when the Operation Indicator fades or does not turn on. The
Noise Canceling Function becomes less effective as the battery wears down so make sure to
replace the battery as necessary to maintain the proper performance of the headphones.
