Intelligent Digital Multiscan Computer Monitor
Intelligence - a CPU and an ASIC - enables the Multiscan 100SFT to deliver dramatically improved performance.
These chips determine the graphic controllers video frequency, quickly calculate the waveforms required to compen-
sate for geometric parameters (keystone, pincushion balance and vertical linearity) all automatically fine tuned. In
contrast, the coventional digital multiscan monitor simply searches in a table of presets for the nearest match to the
signal coming from the graphic card.
Sony's unique Digital multiscan monitors eliminate image geometry distortion over a continuous range of video modes,
ensuring consistent performance regardless of the resolution.
Trouble free installation with Plug and Play
There are no installation problems with the 100SFT. Thanks to it's Display Data Channel (DDC) compatibility, the
100SFT will plug straight into PC's running windows 95 and play without delay. DDC is a new VESA (Video
Electronics Standard Association) standard that allows the monitor to convey important information about itself to the
graphics card enabling automatic adjustments. Provided the graphic card is also DDC compatible, the display will be
used to its optimum advantage.
On screen display
The userfriendly on screen display graphical interface allows quick and precise adjustments of a range of parameters.
The window on the screen shows current settings exactly and allws the user to see how far they can be adjusted.
