Step 1: Using this manual
The instructions in this manual are for LBT-DR6/DR5/DR440/DR4/W5000/W300/XB700/
XB500. The LBT-DR4 is the model used for illustration purposes. Any difference in operation is
clearly indicated in the text, for example, "LBT-W5000/W300 only" or "For European models."
Wide display is used for LBT-DR6/DR5 and normal display is used for LBT-DR440/DR4/
W5000/W300/XB700/XB500.

Kingdom
The AC power cord has been fixed temporarily
on the rear panel with the plug band for
shipment.
Unlock the plug band to remove the plug.

Getting Started
The instructions in this manual describe the controls on the player. You can also use the controls
on the remote if they have the same or similar names as those on the player.
Before operating the system, please read this manual thoroughly and retain it for future
reference.

Step 2: Hooking up the system
Follow steps 1 through 5 to hook up your system using the supplied cords and accessories.
The above illustration is of the LBT-DR4.
1 Connect the speakers.
1 Connect the speaker cords to FRONT
SPEAKER jacks.
Keep the speaker cords away from the
antennas to prevent noise.
2 Insert only the stripped portion of the
cord. Inserting the vinyl portion will
interfere with the speaker connection
and no sound will come from the
speaker.
Note
If "PUSH POWER" appears in the display when you
turn on the system, press
1/u to turn off the system
and check the speaker connections.
