1. REASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY PRECAUTIONS
· The grille is attached to the cabinet by the magnets.
Detach by pulling it toward you.
· The HPF network is attached to the cabinet by 4 internal
screws. When detaching it, detach the parts with following
order.
1. Detach the coaxial unit and disconnect the wire on the
speaker.
2. Unfasten 3 screws on the backside of the coax
chamber.
3. Unfasten one screw one network by inserting the
screwdriver from the port.
4. Detach the wire on the input terminal.
5. Unfasten 4 screws on the HPF network
Attach the parts in reverse order, when attaching the
network.
· The LPF network is divided into two boards. Each board
is attached to the cabinet by 3 internal screws.
When detaching the LPF network, detach the parts with
following order.
1. Detach the woofers and disconnect the wire on the
speaker.
2. Unfasten 3 screws on each board.
3. Detach the wire on the input terminal.
Attach the parts in reverse order, when attaching the
network.
· All speaker units are covered by the trim rings attached by
double-faced tape. When detaching the driver, detach the
trim ring first. To detach it, insert the minus screwdriver in
the gap between the trim ring and the speaker frame, and
then peel off the trim ring slowly. Be careful not to damage
the trim ring.
· The mid-tweeter coaxial unit is attached to the baffle
by 4 ex ter nal s c rews, c overe d by t he tr im r ing. To
detach it, remove the trim ring, and then unfasten those
screws. When re-attaching it, face the midrange terminal
downward.
· The woofers are attached to the baffle by 6 external
screws, covered by the trim ring. To detach it, remove
the trim ring, and then unfasten those screws. When re-
attaching it, face its terminal downward.
